Rapper VTEN manhandles police in custody



KATHMANDU: Popular Nepali rapper VTEN alias Samir Ghising arrested for using obscene words in a song has manhandled police in custody.

Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) said that the rapper manhandled police personnel while recording his statement.

Ghising was arrested from Jhamshikhel, Lalitpur on Thursday by a team from MPCD and handed over to Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur.

He was presented before the court today and was remanded to seven-day in custody.
