KATHMANDU: The government has promoted Joint Secretary Ram Krishna Subedi to Secretary.

A Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to that effect, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Banskota said during a regular press briefing on Thursday.

Subedi is currently serving as Spokesperson at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Subedi, who had served as Kathmandu Chief District Officer, is considered as a ‘strict’ government officer.
