Man dies after being run over by an excavator



BAITADI: A person was killed after being run over by an excavator at Pele in Baitadi district on Thursday.

Fifty-five-year-old Shukra Singh Pujara of Melauli municipality-5, who was onboard the excavator, fell to death from the running vehicle (SK 220 KD), police said.

The excavator was heading to Pele after digging Lamalake-Dhadaun road.

The driver of the excavator, Sheri Singh Bohara, is absconding, police said. Police have launched a search for the driver.
