Govt to resolve issues in foreign employment sector: DPM Pokhrel

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokhrel has said the government is endeavoring to resolve problems existing in the foreign employment sector.

Addressing the 27th AGM of Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) in Kathmandu today, Deputy Prime Minister Pokhrel asked foreign employment entrepreneurs to come up with recommendations that would clear ways for a solution.

He said the government was ready to discuss to resolve problems, including policy-level provisions.

Deputy Minister Pokhrel also urged the entrepreneurs to make foreign employment decent, disciplined, and systematic.

Likewise, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista said that the government was prepared to make a correction if any weaknesses were there on the government’s part.
