Society getting swayed after generalization: Minister Gyawali

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, has expressed his worry over the hasty generalization creeping in society.

Society is the mixture of both regression and progression, but some media and intellectual were getting swayed by ignoring the good works and propelling generalization, he viewed

Addressing a program organized by the Hope Foundation to honor the noted expert on culture, Satya Mohan Joshi, here today, Minister Gyawali, however, admitted that society was facing anomalies. “Some negative stories on various professions have been generalized to shadow the positive efforts,” he complained.

The government has the capacity to battle all sorts of anomalies in the society, he argued, adding, “Nepal has secured 7.5 percent growth facing numerous obstacles as earthquake, blockade and elections. Can’t we be happy on it?”
