Parliament meeting rescheduled for 2:30 pm



KATHMANDU: A meeting held between ruling and Nepali Congress (NC)  lawmakers in Singha Durbar has reached a deal to resume parliament meetings. The meeting had been called by speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

According to the agreement, the NC and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) will submit a report on landslides and inundation triggered by recent monsoon mayhem that wreaked havoc across the country in the parliament meeting to be held at 2:30 pm.

NC Chief whip Bal Krishna Khand, Pushpa Bhusal, Minendra Rijal, Dilendra Badu, Parwati DC Chaudhari were present in the meeting. Similarly, NCP Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subas Nembang, chief whip Dev Gurung, RJP Presidium members Raj Kishor Yadav, Laxman Lal Karna, were in the present in the meeting.

The parliament’s meeting scheduled for 1 pm has been scheduled for 2:30 pm today.
