NCP secretariat meeting scheduled for Thursday to sort out power sharing

KATHMANDU: A secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been called for Thursday to pick leaders for 32 departments, three commissions and a advisory committee of the party.

The meeting called for Tuesday was postponed citing lack of preparations. According to Narayan Kaji Shrestha, spokesperson of the NCP, the meeting will induct leaders in 32 various departments, three commissions and a advisory committee of the party.

A secretariat meeting held on Sunday had finalized a unification process.

“The unification process has almost been finalized. The leaders have reached consensus on the  distribution of power duties and responsibilities. Tomorrow’s meeting will endorse it,” said Shrestha.
