Nepali minor girl murdered in New Delhi

KATHMANDU: A Nepali minor girl was gruesomely murdered after an attempted rape in New Delhi.

The victim has been identified as nine-year-old Laxmi Chandara from Budhiganga Municipality-1, Bajura, according to the information relayed by the Nepali Embassy based in New Delhi.

Laxmi was staying with her parents in Sakkapur.

Laxmi’s father Dev Chandara works as a watchman at the same house where the incident occurred on last Friday while her mother works as a cook in a hostel run by Ahmed.

Meanwhile, police have arrested Ahmed on the charge of the minor’s murder.
