WASHINGTON: The US-China trade war is escalating week after week.

Tariff hikes and threats of more action against each other are peaking up.

Washington has already put Huawei, a Chinese multinational technology company, on a trade blacklist.

Branding the telecoms firm ‘very dangerous’, US President Donald Trump is considering to make Huawei part of a trade deal between the US and China.

The US sees Huawei as a national security risk. Beijing refutes the claim and accuses the US of “bullying” the company.
