2 killed in bus-truck collision



SIRAHA: Two people have died in a bus-truck collision that occurred at Prayagpur Chowk in Mirchaiya  Municipality in the district on Friday morning.

The incident took place when a passenger bus, Na 8 Kha 982, heading to Kathmandu from Jhapa collided head-on with a cargo truck, Na 3 Kha 4264, coming from the opposite direction, confirmed DSP Sukdev Khanal of Area Police Office, Mirchaiya.

A total of 25 people sustained injuries in the accident. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
