Govt to pick another contractor for Melamchi project

KATHMANDU: The government decided to pick another contractor to complete the remaining work of long-overdue   Melamchi Drinking Water project.

Unveiling the government decisions on Thursday, Minister for Information and Communication Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota said the remaining task of the government will be completed very soon.

“The estimated cost for the completion of remaining will be Rs 2. 52,” said Minister Baskota. Former CMC company had  left the job incomplete after the government failed to pay Rs 360 million. The remaining task is around three percent.
