Trump meets Twitter’s co-founder at White House



WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump met Twitter’s co-founder Jack Dorsey at the White House and discussed social media, media reports said.

Twitter said they talked about protecting the health of the public conversation ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Trump tweeted a picture of him and Dorsey in the Oval Office calling it a “great meeting”.

He wrote: “Lots of subjects have been discussed regarding their platform, and the world of social media.”

Meanwhile, Dorsey said Twitter is here to serve the entire public conversation and said they intended to make it healthier and more civil. (Agencies)
