Lasith Malinga announces retirement from int’l cricket

CENTURION: Sri Lankan limited overs Captain Lasith Malinga on Friday announced retirement from international cricket, media reports have said.

Malinga will retire from international cricket after next year’s T20 World Cup.

“I want to play in the T20 World Cup and then end my career,” AFP quoted the 35-year-old cricketer as saying.
