Submit licensed arms before by-elections : Home Ministry

KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry has urged those people possessing licensed arms to submit the arms to police in view of the upcoming by-elections.

Issuing a notice today, the Ministry urges the people concerned to submit the arms to the local police, for a provisional period, by coming November 26 as per the ‘Arms and Ammunition  Act 2019 BS (1962)’  and contribute to ensuring the elections taking place in 37 districts to be conducted  in a free and impartial atmosphere.
