NCP condemns attack by Biplav-led group

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has condemned the attack on its cadres by Netra Bikram Chand led group at a program organized at Barekot rural municipality of Jajarkot district on Wednesday.

NCP central committee member Niraj Acharya, Karnali state committee member Dambar Bahadur Singh and District member of All Nepal National Free Students Union, Bishal Basnet, were critically injured in the attack, according to a press statement issued by the NCP here today.

“Our party condemns such attack and also draws attention of the authorities concerned towards taking stern action against those behind it”, reads the statement.
