PM Oli to attend Nepal Sambat ceremony

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli said he would attend the greetings exchange program to be organized in Basantapur on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1140 New Year on October 29 this year.

PM Oli assured of attending the ceremony to a delegation of the Nepal Sambat Nhuda National Celebration Committee 1140 led by Ramesh Maharjan.

The members of the committee had reached the Prime Minister’s official residence in Balutawar to invite in the ceremony.

Prime Minister Oli, on the occasion, recalled his participation in the Nepal Sambat rallies when he was not the Prime Minister.

He also assured the committee members that the government would support them in their efforts to protect Nepal’s cultures and traditions.
