Social security allowance for unmarried women in Dipayal Silgadhi



DOTI: The Dipayal Silgadhi municipality of Doti has brought unmarried single women above 50 under the ambit of the social security scheme.

According to Bhojraj Sharma, municipality officiating administrative officer, the local government had decided to provide social security allowance to unmarried women above 50 and single from coming November-December.

The scheme will continue until alternative arrangements are made for them.

The municipality is currently collecting statistics of unmarried women above 50 and single.

The municipality has also adopted a policy of operating skill-enhancement training for these women.
