Mahanta Thakur at the helm of RJPN Presidium



KATHMANDU: Mahanta Thakur has been assigned the responsibility of Coordinator of Presidium of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN).

A meeting of Presidium of the party held on Monday assigned the role to Thakur as per the statute of the party.

Earlier, Raj Kishor Yadav had been looking after the responsibility.

Created by merging six different Madhes-based parties, the RJPN had adopted a presidium system having all presidents of former six parties in the top of the party to operate it. One of them works as coordinator turn by turn in every two months.
