NEW DELHI: President of Indian Congress Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh went to the Tihar Jail to meet P Chidambaram, who is in Tihar jail under judicial custody.
India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had arrested former minister Chidambaram on August 21 in INX media case, Indian media reports have said.
He was sent to Tihar jail by the Rouse Avenue Court.
Chidambaram is being investigated by the CBI and the ED in money laundering. (Agencies)
