Nepal slips one spot in ODI rankings



KATHMANDU: Nepali Cricket Team has slipped one position in the International Cricket Council’s One-Day International (ODI) rankings.

As per the latest rankings made public on Friday, Nepal has been placed at 16th position. Earlier, Nepal was placed at 15th position. The UAE and Papua New Guinea are below Nepal in the rankings.

Earlier in January, Nepal had clinched a series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 2-1. Nepal has not played any international ODI game since then.

England has been positioned first in the rankings. Similarly, India, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa have secured second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Nepal remains unchanged at 11th position in the T-20 rankings.
