Rainfall forecast throughout country for two days

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said most parts of the country will witness rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday.

The monsoon’s low-pressure belt is located on the southern belt of the country and the wind filled with water vapor generated from the Bay of Bengal and the local wind are causing the rainfall across the country, said the Division by issuing a weather bulletin on Tuesday.

Some places would see heavy rainfall on Wednesday while some parts in the western and central belt of the country would witness heavy rainfall on Thursday.

In view of the rainfall, the Division has alerted people of possible threats of landslides and floods.
