Rain with thunderstorm forecast today



KATHMANDU: The moist wind blowing into Nepal from the Bay of Bengal accompanied by the local wind is likely to cause heavy downpour accompanied by thunderstorm in most parts of country.

The capital witnessed heavy rains this morning and it is occurring in other parts of the country, too.

The weather is generally to partly cloudy in most parts of the eastern and central reasons and rains accompanied by thunderstorm are occurring in some places, meteorologist Barun Paudel told Khabarhub. Similarly, the weather is partly to generally cloudy with light rainfall in few places in the western region.

According to MFD, heavy rains are expected in some parts of the eastern and central regions and light rain in some places in the western region for some days as the axis of monsoon of trough is in the southern part of the country.
