China ‘dissatisfied’ over comments on Kerung-Kathmandu Railway

KATHMANDU: China has expressed dissatisfaction over comments being made in Nepal over the Kerung-Kathmandu Railway, Kantipur Daily reported.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi had expressed similar discontent at a press meet held in Kathmandu a few days back.

The report, quoting the source, said that the northern neighbor has been complaining that the issue is being hyped at the time when works are yet to be done.

A similar scene was seen during the Fourth Bilateral Secretary Level Talks on Nepal-China Railways held in Beijing.

The meeting that concluded in the Chinese Capital City on Thursday agreed to finalize the feasibility cost and railway survey among others through a next meeting.
