Govt-RPP talks make no headway, to sit again



KATHMANDU: The government and the leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party on Tuesday held talks regarding the latter’s 32-point demands.

The demand includes restoration of a Hindu State. The dialogue was held at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

According to RPP spokesperson Bhuvan Pathak, the talks today ended with an agreement to meet again next week for further deliberations on some of the demands. The RPP was led by leaders Dipak Bohara and Niranjan Thapa.

The government side was represented by Law Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.
