DAMAULI : A person died in a road accident at Damauli of Tanahun district along Prithvi highway on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Sharma, 23, of Vyas municipality-10.
According to the District Police Office, the accident took place when a microbus, Ga 1 Ya 489, hit the scooter, Ga 13 Pa 9181, at Vyas Municipality-4.
Critically injured scooter rider, Sharma, died while receiving treatment Damauli Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Lilaraj Lamichhane. Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
