Musician Madan Dipbim passes away

KATHMANDU: Legendary Nepali musician Madan Dipbim has passed away from heart attack on Monday.

His popular compositions are ‘Timrai Yadma Kalpi Kalpi’, ‘Surilo Rukh Sallai Ho’, ‘Jhaskera Dukhchha Yo Mutu Mero’, ‘Ke Bhul Bhayo Priya’ including scores of songs. He worked for Radio Nepal for a few years.

Dipbim was living with his daughter Mamata Dipbim, a singer, in California of the United States of America for seven years.
