2 cadres of Biplav-led outfit held

GORKHA: Police have arrested two cadres, Bishnu Rijal and Ishwar Pandey, of the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ group from Gorakha.

Rijal is the group’s Gorakha district people’s council chief while Pandey is the central member of All Nepal National Independent Students Union (ANNISU) close to the Biplav-led group.

Rijal was arrested from Ghyalchok of Gandaki rural municipality on Monday while Pandey was held from Ashrang of Bhimsen Thapa rural municipality-6 on Sunday.

Gorakha District Police Chief, Superintendent of Police Bhola Rawal said that Rijal will be prosecuted under the sedition charge and Pandey on the charge of inflicting damage to the Ncell repeater tower in Dhading.
