BAJURA: Police arrested two people while they were collecting medical herbs illegally.

The arrested are Chairman Raj Bahadur Bhandari and Secretary Biyalal Rokaya of Devi Danda Community Forest in Himali Rural Municipality in Bajura district, said District Police Office, Bajura.

Acting on a tip-off that the medicinal herbs were being collected, a police squad deployed from police post Bichchhaya arrested two officer bearers of the community forest consumers committee with a quintal of medicinal herbs locally known as ‘katuku’, informed SP Uddhab Singh Bhatt, DPO Chief.
