Two arrested with tiger’s hide in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested two people along with a tiger hide from Kathmandu.

The team deputed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Sorakhutte held Nawaraj Neupane and Keshav Aryal from Narshing Chowk in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

They were nabbed with 1.4 kg of pangolin hide and scales and tiger’s hide measuring 3.11 feet in length that they were carrying in bags, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh Rathor.

They have been forwarded to the District Forest Office, Hattisar for further action, police said.
