State-5 for green revolution, says CM Pokharel



BARDIYA: Chief Minister of State 5 Shankar Pokharel has said the State government was forwarding the plans to promote green revolution and tourism promotion.

In a press meet organized by the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), CM Pokharel, who is also the party chief in the State, shared that the irrigation facility was utmost for the same and the State government was prioritizing this agenda.

He said Bardiya district was appropriate for green revolution because it had a good irrigation facility. CM Pokharel shared that the Bheri Babai Diversion project would be completed by upcoming winter.

He argued that the Bardiya National Park was a centre of attraction to the tourists because of the growing number of tiger.
