20 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan



KABUL: Afghanistan security forces killed at least 20 Taliban during an operation in southern Uruzgan province of Afghanistan.

The 205th Atal Corps said in a statement that the security forces led by the Special Forces conducted the operation in Charchinoo district, according to a report.

The statement further added that the security forces killed at least 20 militants and destroyed two caches of weapons and munitions.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the raid so far.
