Heavy downpour forecast until Wednesday: MFD

KATHMANDU: The moist wind blowing into Nepal from the Bay of Bengal accompanied by the local wind is likely to cause heavy downpour in most parts of eastern region and few places of central and western regions, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The weather is generally to partly cloudy in most parts of the eastern and central reasons and rains accompanied by thunderstorm are occurring in some places. Similarly, the weather is partly to generally cloudy with light rainfall in few places in the western region.

According to MFD, heavy rains are expected in some parts of the eastern and central regions and light rain in some places in the western region for the next three days.
