NCP Secretariat meeting decides to finalize party statute



KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Secretariat meeting that began at 3:00 pm at Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar concluded with a decision to finalize party statute.

The meeting, however, was expected to allocate responsibilities to the central members and form the central departments of the party. It ended without making any decision to that effect.

It was the first meeting of the party secretariat following Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli return from Europe sojourn.

It is shared that PM Oli briefed the meeting about his Europe trip. According to the party general secretary Bishnu Poudel, the responsibilities for editing and finalizing the party statute have been given to chairperson duo.

He further said the meeting has decided to finalize remaining tasks of the party unification as soon as possible.
