NEW DELHI: India’s cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has said Virat Kohli alone cannot win the 2019 World Cup without the support of his teammates, media reports have said.

Tendulkar said Virat needs support from his teammates to win the World Cup this year. Speaking to PTI, he said team support is a must to win the game adding that one can’t win a tournament with an effort of one individual.

India has batsmen, who can do the job adding that the team has played enough cricket to know their roles, he said while emphasizing on what he said “situational awareness” as the key. Tendulkar is the world’s highest run-getter in Tests and ODIs. (Agencies)
