NCP names chairman, secretary for all 77 districts

KATHMANDU: One year after the unification between the then CPN-UML and former CPN (Maoist Centre), the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) finalized the leadership for all the 77 districts.

The party made public the names of chairmen and secretaries for all the districts amidst a special function today. The then UML has got chairmen in 44 districts and former CPN (Maoist Centre) in 33 districts.

As per the agreement, chairman and secretary do not represent from the same faction, i.e., if the chairman is from the former CPN-UML, secretary will be from former CPN (Maoist Center).
