Film development board gets its chair

KATHMANDU: Government of Nepal (GoN) has appointed producer Keshav Bhattarai as the chairman of the Film Development Board.

Gokul Prasad Baskota, Minister for Information and Technology cum Spokesperson for the GoN informed in a press meet, today.

Former Chairman of the board, Nikita Poudel had resigned from the post citing the domestic problems on February 5, 2019. Bhattarai will serve two years in the office. He is the senior vice-president of Nepal Film Producers Association.
