ILAM: A one and a half months old child died after being administered four vaccines at a single time in Mangsebung Rural Municipality-4 in the district.
The deceased has been identified as Bunu Dewan who passed way after she was vaccinated by the community health unity based at Simaltar.
She was administered BCG, FITV, DPT and PCV vaccines in a single time.
Bunu was hospitalized at the Interim Care Unit of Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar after her condition deteriorated following the vaccination.
The child had been administered all the four vaccines which were supposed to be given in six weeks.
