KATHMANDU: India on Thursday said that it stands firm on its position that its new political map did not revise anything as far as the border with Nepal is concerned.

During a regular press briefing, Raveesh Kumar, Official Spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said India has not deviated from his earlier position.

When asked about the foreign secretary-level meeting between the countries, he said that both sides are interested to finalize the date for the meeting.

On a separate note, he refuted claims that India has not shown interest in releasing the report Nepal-India Eminent Persons Group.
