Ex-minister Bista exits Singha Durbar in a taxi

KATHMANDU: Former Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista exited from his office in Singha Dubar riding a taxi on Thursday afternoon.

Ex-minister Bista left for his home after attending a farewell function at his office.

During the farewell speech, he thanked Prime Minister KP Oli for assigning him the role of a minister, adding that he will always work in favor of laborers.

PM Oli on Wednesday night removed cabinet ministers, including Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Raghubir Mahaseth; Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit; Minister for Labor, Gokarna Bista and Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Tham Maya Thapa Magar and appointed new ministers in their place.

The newly-appointed ministers have already assumed their offices.
