4th National Agricultural Machinery Expo to be in Chitwan

CHITWAN: The fourth National Agricultural Machinery Exhibition-2076 will be organized in Chitwan from tomorrow.

The four-day expo to be held at the expo center constructed by Chitwan Association of Industries is jointly organized by Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Department of Agriculture, Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project, Centre for Agricultural Infrastructure Development and Mechanization Promotion, Agriculture and Cooperatives of state-3, Ministry of Land Management, and Nepal Agriculture Machinery Entrepreneurs Association.

The expo is being organized with an aim to provide information about agro-related modern technology, equipment, agro machines, and service to farmers under one roof.

Over 100 stalls will be kept in the expo, according to General Secretary of Nepal Agriculture Machinery Entrepreneurs Association, Krishna Sharma.

He stated that over 2,000 agricultural equipment, machinery, and technology of more than 20 countries would be put on display.

Sharma said that they expect more than 35,000 farmers of 70 districts in the expo.
