BANEPA: A government employee was arrested for taking bribe from a service recipient.
Acting on tip-off, a squad of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested first class non-gazetted officer of Land Revenue Office Revenue Section, Roskaji Jaspau, for taking bribe of Rs 20,000 from a service seeker.
The CIAA team caught him from the premises of the Revenue Office after he took bribe from a service recipient for facilitating the work related to land ownership transfer and issuance of ownership certificate, said Kavrepalanchowk Chief District Police Officer, Shrawan Kumar Timilsina.
