Fuel price remains stable



KATHMANDU: The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has retained the price of petroleum products despite the increment in the international market.

There is Rs 1.65 increment in petrol per liter according to the latest price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation on November 16.

Likewise, price of diesel has decreased 80 paisa per liter. IOC sends the price list biweekly to the NOC and the NOC adjusts price of petroleum products accordingly.

Currently, petrol is sold for Rs 107 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley, while price of diesel and kerosene per liter is Rs 95 each.

Likewise, a LPG cooking gas per cylinder is Rs 1350. Aviation fuel (domestic) is sold for Rs 94.50 per liter and for USD 1 (international).
