Five Pakistanis arrested in Nepal in last two months



KATHMANDU: Five Pakistani Nationals have been arrested so far in the last two months for their involvement in the illegal activities in Nepal.

A Pakistani national named Riaz Hashim Bhatti, holder of Pakistani passport (AH3179084) was arrested and handed over to immigration authorities for overstaying his visa.

A fine of US$ 7500 has been imposed upon Riaz, who is likely to land in jail if he fails to deposit the amount.

Riaz is the 5th Pakistani national detained during the past two months in Nepal due to illegal activities.

Earlier, four Pakistanis were detained for carrying out illegal activities here.
