Pimples are common problems that people, mainly teenagers, and youth, can face.
Pimples may not completely be eliminated in a day. However, people having pimples can make some progress in reducing redness and shrinking blemishes.
What not to do?
Do not pick at or squeeze a pimple. It can spread the bacteria that cause acne.
Try these methods:
Use a gentle cleanser to wash the affected area. Do not run your skin, simply pat the area dry with a towel.
Try applying a spot treatment such as benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil or salicylic acid, to dry out the pimple.
Sometimes, crushing aspirin and mixing it into a paste with little water can also work. Likewise, applying some calamine lotion can also help to dry out the lesion.
Pimples on the face or acne blemishes can take time to fully recover. If you do not see results in a month, consult a dermatologist. (With inputs from Agencies)
