Bamdev not to compete in by-elections from Kaski



KATHMANDU: Leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has announced that he will not compete in by-elections from Kaski-2.

He informed the NCP Secretariat meeting today that he will not compete in the polls from the constituency.

Earlier, it was reported that the party was willing to field the leader from the constituency that has been lying vacant since the demise of the then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari in a chopper crash.
