KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has finalized Chairmen and Secretaries of the party for Metropolitan cities.
A Secretariat Meeting of the party held at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Saturday finalized Chairmen and Secretaries of all the six metropolises.
Nirmal Deuja and Rabindra Shrestha have been appointed Chairman and Secretary of Kathmandu Metropolis respectively.
Likewise, Manjari Kayastha has been picked Chairman of Lalitpur Metropolis and Gyanendra Shakya has been appointed Secretary of the metropolis.
As per the decision, Deepak Koirala has been appointed Chairman of Pokhara Metropolitan City and Bishwo Prakash Lamichhane has been picked Secretary of the party for the metropolis.
Ram Prasad Neupane and Ishwor Sapkota have been appointed Chairman and Secretary of the party for Bharatpur Metropolis.
Similarly, Sagar Thapa has been picked Chairman for Biratnagar Metropolitan City as Hem Karki has been appointed Secretary.
The party has selected Rahbar Ansari as Chairman for Birgunj Metropolis and Bishwo Prakash Sharma as Secretary for the metropolis.
