TANAHUN: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Abukhaireni of the district on Saturday.
The deceased is identified as Yam Bahadur Thapa, 28, of Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-2 and currently residing in Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-3.
According to District Police Office Tanahun, the mishap happened when a motorcycle, Ba 99 Pa 1473, was hit by a truck, Lu 1 Kha 8002, heading to Muglin from Pokhara.
Thapa breathed his last while undergoing treatment at local Chhimeshwori Hospital, police said, adding they have arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle.
