Fresh quake jolts Gorkha

GORKHA: An earthquake with 4 on the Richter scale jolted the district on Saturday morning.

According to Mukunda Bhattarai, a seismologist of National Seismological Center, Lainchaur, the tremors were recorded at 6:19 am today with its epicenter at Kerabari of Siranchowk Rural Municipality-1.

The tremors were felt in Gorkha, Dhading, Tanahun and Lamjung. No casualties or damages have been reported.

The earthquake struck thrice in the far-west region and one with its epicenter in Lamjung within a period of one week.
