U.S. drone ‘shot down’ over Yemen

WASHINGTON: A U.S. military MQ-9 drone has been shot down in Yemen’s Dhamar governate, two U.S. officials have said.

This is the second such incident in recent months, according to international media reports.

According to the officials, who insisted anonymity, said that the drone was shot down on Tuesday. (Agencies)
