NCP secretariat finalizes names of district, municipal in-charges

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has finalized the names of 83 in-charges, including 77 district and 6 municipalities.

A meeting of the NCP secretariat held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar this afternoon made the decision to this effect, party spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha. The party will announce the names of the in-charge by today evening, he said. The decision of the secretariat will, however, be endorsed by the party’s central committee and standing committee.

According to Shrestha, while the erstwhile CPN-UML got 45 seats, the then Maoist party got 38.
